Material Acceptance

We are so grateful for the generous response from our community since we've opened! We've received an amazing amount of contributions and are working through getting them sorted, priced, and on the shelves for you!

Before you drop off, please read:
Check this page before coming in, as our acceptance list may change based on capacity, and we may pause drop-offs at times.

If you’re not on a tight timeline, please wait a couple of weeks before bringing it by, as we catch up on processing everything we’ve received.

We Are Not Currently Accepting:

  • Synthetic Yarn (at capacity)

  • Fabric (we are currently working on sorting and pricing a backlog of fabric.)

  • Metal frames (at capacity)

  • Plastic page protectors (at capacity)

  • Photo albums (at capacity)

Small drop-offs (one bag or box): Welcome during open hours; no appointment needed.

Large drop-off: Please contact us to schedule an appointment.

Pickups: If you’re moving, downsizing, or handling an estate clean-out. We offer free pickup for larger quantities, fixtures, and specialty materials throughout East Jefferson County. Contact us to discuss the possibility of a pick up.

Please note:

  • All items must be clean and in usable condition – please nothing sticky, smelly, moldy, hazardous, or showing signs of pest damage.

  • We reserve the right to decline items.

    • Window treatments, household linens, or towels

    • Fabric scraps under 1/4 yard (unless quilting charm packs and jelly rolls)
