How Our Circular Supply Model Works

We want to be upfront and clear about how intake and pricing works at The Creative Reuse.

Sourcing: We accept contributions from individuals and businesses who are looking to clear out art supplies and creative materials they want to offload. We offer free pickup as a service to make it easy for people looking to declutter or downsize. We do not purchase items or offer consignment.

Pricing: A core part of our mission is to make art supplies accessible, so our prices will be significantly lower than typical retail. We know that the meaning of "affordable" is different for everyone, but our aim is to increase access to creative materials by making them more affordable.

We're a small business, so our prices account for the overhead costs that come with running a sustainable operation: rent, vehicle costs for pickups, staff time, website maintenance, and the many other expenses that go into running a shop. (If you want to learn more about running an art-based business, be sure to check out Aran's business class once our schedule is up.)

Community Partnership: We're working toward partnering with a local nonprofit so that a portion of our proceeds from donated items can go back into the community. When that partnership is in place, we'll share more details.

Our Goal: To price materials fairly while ensuring that we build The Creative Reuse to be sustainable; both environmentally and as a business that can serve this community for years to come.
